This ATC was made after slicing up an old cross stitch done in the mid-1980s. It had once been a pillow. The design was based on the 6th century mosaics in Ravenna's (Italy) San Vitale church apse.
The reverse is a piece of purple wool, signed and dated in free motion embroidery.
